Australia after a month and a half

We have since quit our jobs and have started to enjoy a little more of Surfer's and the surrounding area.

As one of our goals for coming here, we tried surfing last week!! It was a lot of fun, but we were both pretty sore the next day! Regardless, it was worth it, I was able to stand up once, and Trev got up a few times. We'll be pro's in no time!!!

We did a day tour of O'Reily Mountain and Tambourine mountain, which was amazing! The views from the top of the mountain go on forever!!! We went on a walk through the rainforest on O'Reily mountain, and climbed to the top of a really tall tree (not sure exactly how tall it was, but when we got to the top, it was cold and my legs were definately shaking). In the rainforest there were all these trees that were surrounded by vines that grew from the top down and physically strangled the tree. Theses vines wrap around the tree causing it to rot and eventually die. These trees were all over and so amazing to look at. (Again pictures will be up on facebook, if not on here shortly).

At the top of Tambourine mountain, to our surprise, there is an entire little town. We had some lunch and then did some wine tasting before coming back home.

So far, Australia has been pretty good. We are starting to look for jobs again, but no one seems to want to hire us. We're gonna give it another week or so, and if no jobs come our way, we'll probably head somewhere else. I really want to start seeing and doing more, so I'm secretly hoping we are able to move to a different city to see what else is out there!!

It has definatley been a different experience from Korea so far, but enjoyable all the same!!
